We sat down with Kelly Forster, Vice President of the Cronulla Public School P&C for a Q&A session.

Q: What can you tell us about your community?
A: At Cronulla Public School, we aim to be a high-performing school. It is a positive, and inclusive school culture. The school is focused on promoting success and catering for the well-being of all. We strive for continuous improvement of our school grounds. It makes us proud to serve both the staff and students within the school. In addition, we are proud to serve the greater school community who enter our gates.

With this goal in mind, we faced a challenge with our existing bubblers and drinking water fountains. They were not suitable for the school community to invite students, teachers, and parents to fill water bottles.
The new Aquafil by Civiq water bottle refill stations will now enable all members of our school community to access fresh drinking water in a hygienic way. Even sporting events will be enhanced due to the availability of hydration. This in turn encourages a healthy lifestyle.
Q: Why did you decide to partner with Civiq to upgrade your drinking water fountains?
A: As a school sourcing the designs, manufacture and installation of bubblers and water bottle refill stations, it was great to work with Civiq and the team. For example, we wanted to partner with a company that provided a “one-stop shop”. People who could help us every step of the way. Q: What matters to you the most when choosing drinking water fountains for your community?
A: When sourcing anything for our school, we need to ensure health and safety standards are adhered to. This applies both to the product selected and how it is installed. We strive to support Australian-made products that can be delivered in an affordable way to our community.
Q: Which doubts or hesitations did you have before selecting your drinking water fountains?
A: Before the installation of our water bottler refill stations and bubblers, we needed to ensure all safety and compliance regulations would be adhered to by our chosen manufacturer and installer. We also wanted to ensure that our units would be installed in a timely manner.
Q: Would you recommend us to others looking to upgrade their school’s drinking water fountains? Why?
